Enjoyed although maintenance fencing ruined the beautiful view! The ducks were adorable although the park was plagued by ibises

Although middle of winter and a very cold windy day the gardens were a delight to visit. One could imaging what they would be like and in spring when all the shrubs and flowers are at their best Recommended

Considering the size of Toowoomba, I was impressed by how large and well laid out this Japanese garden is. It was very nice to walk around and admire the plants and bridges. This garden is good to visit in winter, when the other gardens in...More

Anyone passing through Toowoomba has got to check out this wonderful garden. It is very authentic and even has Japanese writing for the plaques. Unfortunately the waterfall was not flowing. P.S. bring food for the ducks 🦆

There is no entrance fee for the Japanese garden. There is a donation box but I honestly haven't seen anyone put anything in it for years. Well worth a look.

Dog are permitted within the Japanese Garden, but must be on a leash at all times. The dog owner is also required by using an appropriate scoop and bag to remove any droppings. :)
