Temptation is a 58 foot sailing catamaran which has been doing wild dolphin swims daily since 2001, in this time we have never been out on a dolphin cruise and not seen dolphins. In fact we will give you all your money back if dolphins are not seen on this cruise. Dolphins always come over to Temptation and you can stand or lay above them on our front nets. If you wish to swim, no worries (but book early to avoid disappointment) this is a totally wild experience, no feeding, no touching just viewing from within the water. Because these are wild dolphins we have strict rules to abide by (both for the safety of the swimmers and the dolphins) and sometimes it can be rushed to get the swimmers in the water and sometimes the crew do need to yell so that the swimmers know which way to look under water. If you book in for a swim and on the day change your mind, no problems we can refund the difference (direct bookings only), especially for young children who decide they don't want to swim, that way they don't need to feel forced to go into the water. Remember you will always see more dolphins from on board, but seeing wild dolphins underwater is just amazing.

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch cruise for 2 hours! The weather was lovely, the crew professional and friendly. Good facilities, clean and well set up. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend highly!

I bought into the idea of being up and close to dolphins in nature; however the unstated reality is a long boat trip to find them. We were sat on outside of a catamaran, on its bow fully exposed to the weather, which today was overcast with near-freezing winds coming off the water straight in the face for several hours;... We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your dolphin experience due to conditions on the day. Please note there are “options” regarding where you sit – you do not need to sit at the front of the boat – you could have sat at the back of the boat (where there is more shelter) or even inside the... Crew were very friendly and helpful - a great morning even if the dolphins didn't want to play the game

The vessel was an excellent platform for this activity and was crewed by a bunch of guys who were friendly, approachable and extremely informative. Once the crew found a pod of dolphins, it was a very quick and simple process to get everyone in the water and as close to these beautiful wild creatures as we could legally be. The... More

The marine biologist mates really made this trip interesting for me. They were knowledgable and willing to be engaged if you engaged them. Steve, the captain, did a great job also. We did see dolphins in their natural habitat, not as many as we hoped, be still had at least 4 opportunities during the sail. The water visibility was not... More

From boarding till departing the boat, this was such a fun filled, magical experience. The staff we're extremely knowledgable, friendly, fun and couldn't do enough for us. As a mother of one teenager and 2 preteens, all enjoyed equally, describing it as ' The best day of their lives' I was on 13yrs ago but this time was so much... More

My wife and I joined Temptation Sailing on their dolphin swim and watch cruise during our recent visit to Adelaide, and we were not disappointed. Firstly the weather was great, nice and sunny and calm seas - currently back home it is -6, this made the boat cruise very enjoyable - the dolphins were just the icing on the cake.... More

I cannot recommend this tour enough! The staff were extremely friendly and full of information about the dolphins and the coastal area. Steve (Captain) asked if anyone had any questions etc. and I certainly jumped at the opportunity, fascinated about the responses. This is an eco tour, the dolphins are wild so I feel lucky to have any interaction with... More

Lovely cruise, the weather was beautiful, the sea calm, crew were friendly and polite. First did this trip 10 years ago - the vessel definitely looks tired now... maybe a lick of paint, bits of rust showing! On our first trip it was BYO. Not any more! And drinks prices are more than your average pub, and even less in... More
