It was wet and on and off rain. We were expecting lots of flowers but looks like it's not the time of the year. Still it's was a good place to visit and look at the sinkhole formation. Fully recommended.

The Umpherston sinkhole was not what I expected. It was very pretty and had a great history. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. A definite must for stretching the legs if you are passing through and need a break.

What an absolutely fantastic place to see, im so glad we made the effort to see this. Its a credit to the people of Mt Gambier who keep on maintaining it and the surrounding grounds.

I have been to Mt,Gambier many times but this was my first visit to the sink hole, I was amazed at the beauty of the gardens and the history of the place. I will definitely return.

Advised to visit the sink hole whilst on our travels.So glad we did,it is unbelievable.So worth the visit.you can walk down to the bottom of it.A definite must if sightseeing.I would go back if their again.

No, what i think you are talking about is a display on the outside of the building overlooking what the locals call The Cave Gardens. It shows nightly, but is not really a sound and light show, more of a movie clip.

Oh and the Beachport Jetty and Paintball skirmish. Awesome fun and adrenaline rush. Lastly there is the fairy penguin lookout and soft cliff faces with hidden caves underground. You'll wish you had more than just a few days... More

I am not sure about that. Perhaps the Mount GambierTourist Information Centre (Lady Nelson Tourist Centre) could help with that.
