We went on the Boags Brewery tour in April 2017. In all honesty, I was extremely disappointed with the presenter and the experience. The tour was very short on substance because the female presenter was more interested in telling us her worst drinking jokes and repeating sexist comments she heard in previous tour groups. I was rather baffled when she... More

Boags Brewery is a place to visit even if you don't indulge . My wife and i decided that we would go and visit the brewery and while there found out that there was a guided tour leaving in around 15 mins,so we decided to hany around try on some Boags shirts and jackets while we waited. The tour was... More

First parking. Free parking is tucked behind the building from which the tour departs. If you take the Tamar River Cruise you get a 20% discount on the Boag tour cost if you present your ticket (how that would go if you book online I don't know - I'd already booked and paid online before Tamar Cruises told us that).... Located on the edge of Launceston's CBD, the Boag museum is across the road from the actual brewery. Very interesting museum, with bar and restaurant on ground floor....inside and outside dining options. It's 3 floors, so upper levels not accessible other than by the stairs.

We have been on the Boags Brewery tour before and we decided it was that good it was worth doing again with friends who had not been there. Our tour guide, Zac, was extremely knowledgeable and we got to see all aspects of their beer making process as well as an ongoing chat about the history of Boags. The firts... More

Great tour, Matt was amazing, very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. Tour was changed slightly due to weather conditions. Loved the tour, the atmosphere, tastings (considering I'm not a beer drinker) and cheese platters that accompanied. Would recommend to all. Thank you Matt for making the experience great!

We dropped by the Boags brewery after a Saturday morning at the Launceston markets. We didn't have enough time for a tour, but instead want for a beer paddle tasting 4 of Boag's different flavours. The bar lady knew her stuff, and the beers went down a treat. We were there early, and it looked like there was food and... More

This tour is about three hours and you do get your moneys worth so don't hesitate at the cost. The museum is amazing so allow time for that too. So much history to this brewery. We saw the whole operation and the guide was excellent. At the end you get 4 pots of beers to taste, one that you can't... More

My husband and I did the Boags Brewery tour with guide Zac. It was mainly for my husbands benefit but we both loved it! It is full of history and information. You get to see the whole brewery in action including the packaging. At the end of the tour you get generous tastings served with matching local cheeses. Really worth... More
