Guided tours are given and well worth taking the time for one. Make sure you also visit Kittelty's, the cafe attached to the gallery. The spelt loaf is divine, as is the baked cheese cake.

Beautiful old building that is larger than you expect. Free entry to the permanent exhibits. Some great paintings on show. The cafe is also worth a stop in. You can have your cuppa under some famous artworks.

The Art Gallery of Ballarat is gorgeous. Such a large collection of amazing art. We were all so impressed and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone travelling to Ballarat.
