Excellent location with contemporary emphasis and ambitious programs. Check out Dudley House next door for the local artists, also the fine restaurants and shops across the street.

The exhibitions and general atmosphere created by the curator is equal to anything else in the world. For a regional gallery to have such quality is brilliant.

Visiting Bendigo Art gallery on occasions as we pass through the town. Must be one of the best regional galleries in Australia. Impressive permanent collection and interesting different exhibitions from time to time. Wonderfully maintained building and precinct.
