Sad because the gardens obviously are a low priority for the local council/shire. Many dead plants through lack of water seemingly. There were springtime plantings, so those areas were barren. In contrast, we noticed many locals coming in and using the facilities there.

Small but interesting, very well maintained. Lots of kids and family groups enjoying the place, also a lot of native parrots feeding on the lawns.

We visited in autumn and it was a bit sparse but nonetheless pleasant for a short walk, It is beautifully laid-out. The lawns are billiard-green neat and the roses were a joy.

We always enjoy visiting theses gardens. They are well set out with nice walking paths and well maintained. Many plants have their botanical names on them which is interesting especially the large trees. Good place for all age groups to visit for picnics, or just...More

The end of summer may not be the best time to visit botanical gardens in a dry season however there was plenty to see. Historic elms & oaks gave wonderful shade. Roses were still in bloom and well labelled. There were individual beds dedicated to...More

This attraction provides a simple quiet haven within walking distance of the centre of town. It's not expansive but provides a green oasis in the city.

Very easy walking on flat ground and the gardens are beautifully kept, gorgeous big palms and trees and the rose section a delight.

This is a lovely park. Well maintained, not large but a real surprise in such a small city. Horsham is so clean! A very nice city!

Well kept gardens a great selection of plants and interesting statues. My daughter loved the play park and I enjoyed the walk round.

Pretty big so drive around for different sceneries. Walk along the lake - lots of wildlife. The gardens have lovely statues and plants. Parking is easy and free by the roadside. Allow at least 2 hours.
