A group or 12 set up camp at the front of the top deck for a 2 hour cruise. The cruise was nice and informative as well as relaxing given the beautiful weather on the day. The captain for the day was very informative about the area referencing the way the lock is used as well as the weir to... More

The boat is a little dated but crew were helpful and views were very nice. When you arrive at Trentham you have the choice of a tour or get straight into the tastings. If you give the tour a miss then you will have more room at the bar and more attention from the waitress as it can get crowded... More

Not especially a history or mechanical enthusiast, I simply hoped to sight-see Mildura and the Murray River while enjoying the weather from the boat's top deck. I was unexpectedly impressed by the bird life but had hoped the commentary would include some reference to the areas ecology rather than just a few old dates and the names of early pioneers.... We were so very lucky to do this trip today. The weather had been horrible and we fluked a beautiful day with sunshine. We were staying in town at the Big 4 Crossroads Caravan Park. We walked 4kms to the wharf down Deakin Avenue. A bit further than we thought but hey we are young and fit (mid 50's). We... More

We travelled on one of the paddle boats from Mildura downstream, through a lock, admiring the riverside homes & hearing of the history that the Murray played in the development of the area.

My wife and I visited mildura recently and went for the 2 hour cruise on the PS Rothbury . The crew were friendly and informative and there is a small galley serving drinks and snacks. The Rothbury is also family friendly.

Great trip down the Murray with great sights all along the way and interesting commentary too. Great wine tour at Trentham winery and absolutely fabulous lunch before the return trip back to Mildura. The staff both on the boat and at Trentham had lots of patience with the kids and even went out of their way to find ways to... More

What an awesome way to see this part of the Murray river. The scenery is amazing. The commentary on board was informative, interesting and not boring at all. Bonus was that the boat licensed! Awesome 2hr ride. Perhaps overpriced a little. Paid $30 each adult for the ride. Maybe $20 might get more visits. Can't believe there are no dinner... More
