so much fun!

Even in the rain, it's beautiful. Lots of places to walk. I love that the train is still there! I rode that in my childhood!

Lovely park

This park has some nice paths to walk, though the signs could be a bit better. Paths are nice and clear. Nice facilities in the park area. Bbq’s and picknick tables available. Playground for the little ones.

Spotted a beautiful tawny frogmouth family and heard some kookaburras in the distance.

A easy but very interesting trail
Dec. 2018 • Couples
This will suit all ages and activity levels. There are several marked graded walks along a valley with easy signs and notices about vegetation, history and settlement. There is a children's play area and a stream running through the valley. Ag great place for a short exploration and a good way to ease after driving.

Don't overlook a walk in this Park
Apr. 2019 • Couples
With bush trails of varying lengths there is something here for everyone. If you are into birds (of the feathered kind) you will not be disappointed. Secluded seating areas are a chance to sit and really appreciate the surrounding beauty.

All one could want from a small park by a river, and a coffee shop next door
Apr. 2019 • Couples
The Margaret River Park Run is held here every Saturday. That's how we discovered it. A lovely loop walk along the river. A good looking children's playground near the car park. Coffee nearby at The Hairy Marron.

Terrific park on the edge of the (fenced) river
Dec. 2018 • Family
Spent a lazy hour here while the kids played then ate a picnic lunch. Lots of exercise equipment (that the kids enjoyed playing with too), plus swings and fairly new adventure playground equipment. There are also walking trails into the bush. Set amongst beautiful tall trees next to the river, and very accessible right on the edge of town.

Morning Serenity
Nov. 2018 • Couples
Start at the rotary park and walk along the river past the playground and athletic stations to experience a touch of WA flora and fauna. The earth bush path leads to a lookout reflected on the other side of the river. Beautiful serene environment in the early hours. Beats laying in bed trying to sleep due to the time differences if your an east coast traveler.

Loved Kate
Nov. 2018 • Family
We had a wander around the old settlement while listening to an abundance of birds. The lily pads in the river were beautiful and we just loved Kate!

Very pleasant and easy walking
Dec. 2018 • Solo
We decided to do the walk to the Ten Mile Dam. It was very pleasant with lots of excellent views of the river, ever changing. It’s about 15k there and back on well laid tracks and route finding is easy. Well worth the effort!

Interesting

We had a quick walk around. Lovely park and interesting too. If we had mnore time, we would have spent it there instead of touring the area.
