Lake Cave is a stunning crystal wonderland and the only cave in the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge with a permanent lake. It acts as a mirror of infinite reflections that is truly magical. The cave is renowned for the ‘Suspended Table’ – a five tonne column of calcite that hangs from the ceiling just a few centimetres above the lake. The precinct features impressive retail, interpretative and cafe facilities. Located 25 kilometres south of Margaret River.

The tour guide makes me very excited and this is my first cave adventure while i visit Margaret River! She is full of energy seriously! Good start of the long flight of steps 300plus steps that makes it 600 steps upon returning. Good burnt out....More

We arrived early and had a very small group to go down into the cave. The guide was very educated and the views were spectacular. Entering is easy, but it was 326 steps up to get out. However, nobody pressured you to hurry up and...More

We had visited the Mammoth Cave earlier in the day and had been recommended this cave due to the reflective pool at the bottom. My aunt stayed above ground and I took the plunge down the 325 steep stairs to the bottom. Although this is...More

The tour guide was excellent. She was so enthusiastic about the cave and had so much knowledge to share about the caves history and it's different formations. The actual cave beautiful. I'd never seen anything like it, and the light show in the cave really...More

This is the best cave I have ever seen discovered by TIM CONNOLLY. No two caves are the same. You might have heard this saying. Which is quite true. This cave is smaller in size but the beauty of that suspended table cannot explained in...More

An amazing place. Lots of stairs like you were entering a huge hole in the ground but definitely worth doing.

There are a few caves around here. Lake cave attraction is their still water and it has a mirror effect. As there are packages around, that is 2 caves or 3 caves for special price, you have to choose wisely. Mammoth cave specialty is the...More

Such a beautiful and relaxing place. Our tour guide was amazing and what a wonderful experience when she turned off all the lights and we just listened to the sounds of the cave. Definitely worth the stair climb!

Loved this place, it was our first cave visit and we loved every min of it. Stairs down into the cave is narrow, be sure to wear proper footwear. Will be great if you don't bring along bags and all.
