Who would have thought that snorkeling and diving in NZ would be far better experience than the one at the Great Barrier Reef. It was amazing. Hordes of fish clinging to the walls of the island or just passing through just next to you. The reserve is protected and you can benefit from that by watching this amazing underwater show.... More

We booked the Perfect Day tour to snorkel the area. Wonderful! We have had the luck to take many a boat ride/tour and found this one to be excellent on all accounts. The boat, crew, equipment, lunch and information given were all top notch and pleasant. We felt welcome and safe from the reception in the dive shop to boarding... More

Just a quick 45 minute boat ride out from Tutukaka and you arrive at this stunning underwater paradise. The islands themselves are spectacular teaming with birdlife, but its when you explore under the water that the true beauty emerges. It dosent matter if you are an experienced diver or novice snorkler the team at Dive Tutukaka train you up. They... More

I got my deep dive ticket here, absolutely fantastic, the sights were incredible, huge crayfish clinging to under water cave walls, where we were able to take our masks off and explore, massive schools of fish, the types were too numerous to recount. I'll never forget the experience even though it was 30 years ago. If you get the chance,... More

Went on a trip on Perfect Day boat, had a wonderful time. Early February, perfect weather. Saw lots of fish while snorkeling, and saw a large group of common dolphins and aone whale on the trip back to Tutukaka.

Joined the Perfect Day for a days snorkelling. We were just incredibly lucky diverting to see a large pod of pseudo-Orcas and bottle nose Dolphins on the trip out. The snorkelling was terrific. The young staff could not have been more helpful, enthusiastic and friendly to. It is aptly named Perfect Day!

A brief 45 minute boat trip brought us to a wonderful calm bay at The Poor Knight's Islands for snorkelling. Many shoals of fish and amazing fields of kelp to swim in but we needed the wetsuits as only 19 degree sea at most.
