Amazing diving and snorkling, types and numbers of fish hard to believe. Beautiful scenery, listen to the Bellbirds calling while you sit on your boat. You can spend the whole day there, take food and drink because you will want to stay longer than planned when you see the beautiful bays and coves where you can be in the water or... More

Very professional! Well organised dive company. 4 boats, plenty of staff and knowledgeable - but it is cold in the water, don't think a 3 ml wet suit will do, use theirs - 2 x 7ml pieces. I was as warm as toast but several others on the boat were still cold! Saw all sorts of fish life, from large... More

The Reserve status has meant each year, the marine life has become more magical and plentiful. It is a terrific experience not to be missed. It is better than the Reserve in Hawaii and is superior to any Pacific area where I have snorkeled.

What a great trip. The dive shop helped us with our gear and loaded on the boat. The dive masters were great. We had Dawn for our leader and she was fantastic. We dove at Middle Arch and Trevor's Point. We had 7mm wetsuits and that kept us comfortable. Our oldest son wore a vest with his swim trunks- no... More

When the visability is great , & you enjoy a smoothe trip over ( less than an hour ), you will experience one of your best days in your life . Visability is best in autumn . Whether you swim with the Rays in the Northern Arch , or relax & explore Nursery Cove , or experience the Blue Mou... More

This is "Amazing" It's like snorkelling in a massive fish tank If u love snorkeling and recreational water sports this is a must do! No fishing to eat allowed - its one of the best marine reserves in the world with a cave so massive the whole big launch can fit in and you're not allowed to put foot on... More

Had an awesome couple of days out at the Poor Knights Marine Reserve, about a half hour trip from Tutukaka and was fortunate to experience some great diving, fishing and scenery such as the world's largest sea cave Riko Riko, with about one hectare of sea surface inside the cave - it is massive!! The diving was spectacular -so many... More

This is a serene place where you can marvel at the underwater whether above or below the surface. The water turns light blue as you head out from the coast.

Typical boat trip out from Tutukaka and then dumped into the briny to explore the depths. Have to say that there was not a very good display of fish even down at 30m Perhaps we will have to revisit to experience what is supposed to be there.
