My son and I have just been out with Kaikoura Kayaks after the earthquake that rocked the area and I have to say that its a fantastic way to appreciate how much the shoreline has changed. Just an incredible experience. I live in the area and was just blown away. The new feature the lads from Kaikoura Kayaks having been... More

All of my family members (include a nine years old boy) had never paddled like this before, so we were a little worried, but the arrangement of this Kaikoura Kayaks company is very thoughtful. They provided a private guide for our familiar group. Our guide Arye was excellent. He is very experienced and patient. We experienced a pleasant, excited and... More

A spur of the minute decision led to me nipping around the corner from where I was staying to make up the 8th person in the group which gave us 2 people in 4 kayaks. This was a great size group and we left by bus to get to the launch site. We were briefed at various stages on what... More

Group is small and the guides are very knowledgeable. Birds, seals and other sea life and we were paddling in the great Pacific. Safety was excellent and even those who have never paddled before would have to feel confident.

I had never Kayaked before, so wasn't sure what to expect, but our guide, Matt was awesome. We saw loads and the time went by so quickly. We were quite lucky in that it was just my friend and I out on the water, but what was great was that even though there was just the two of us, the... More

A truly wonderful three and a half hours on the water; checking out the seal colony. The whole team were so relaxed but totally professional. I have disablities and never once felt disabled. Thank you guys x

I cannot recommend this experience enough! The owner Matt and our guide Arye were both incredibly welcoming and clearly passionate about their work. My friend had never been kayaking before, but that was no issue. Small group, 4 of us total, and Arye ensured we had an absolutely rocking time. Cheers for the experience, guys, you're doing business right! You're... More

A first class morning. I'm not too confident in the water but these Kayaks are so stable. The safety and instruction briefing was very professional. A flat calm day and lots of seals jumping and swimming like dolphins right under the kayaks. We even saw a seal having a lunch of octopus on the way back. A brilliant time. Thanks... More

Took our 4 y.o. and we were well looked after by Matt. Felt perfectly safe with a small child the entire time. Had a cracker of a day with no wind and little swell but even so, they run a pretty tight operation and you shouldn't hesitate to take smaller kids along for a paddle Saw lots of seals and... More
