Absolutely wonderful short walk meandering along a stream filled with seals! Many are at the top near the waterfall, great to sit here and watch them

We visited at the wrong time to see babies but a nice walk and waterfall at the end. Shame about the other tourists acting disrespectfully especially allowing their children to scream and run around when there are signs clearly saying the seal mothers can get...More

We where there just before the earthquake and was a beautiful walk with a big parking space. We were to early to see the babies, but some seals where hiding in the forest.

Well, it was amazing when we visited a few years ago - but as others have indicated, the road is still closed, and so it is impossible to visit at the moment.

The playful baby seals are just gorgeous and it is a very short easy walk to the waterfall. PLEASE NOTE, this is currently not accessible due to earthquake damage from the November 2016 Kaikoura quake.
