I loved the seal swim experience! It was a perfectly organised trip and a lovely crew. The spot was beautiful with lots of playful, relaxed and very interacting seals. The crew looks well after the seals and their environment.

We went out with seal swim kaikoura and it was amazing. Vanessa and the staff were fantastic. The wet suits masks and snorkel see all very good equipment and to be in the water and have a seal swim right under you is amazing. You have to do this you won't regret it

The seal swim experience was seriously awesome. The business is extremely well organised, the staff are very friendly and any fears I had regarding safety quickly disappeared once I was in the water with these amazing animals. The boat ride to the seals was reasonably short and I was relieved to find we were swimming in pretty shallow water near... More

We had a the best time swimming with the seals. I was not really sure what to expect. You really get into the water with the seals and swim all around. They are super friendly and will show off and do tricks for you. We felt very comfortable and safe in the water. We did not feel like we were... More

Whilst I have not actually done a tour with this company I have spent quite a lot of time watching them from our boat whilst my partner was diving. The operators always give us a friendly wave as they go past and most of the swimmers seem to have a great time swimming with the seals. One weekend in February... More

The theory about how it may be sounds simply great, but to live it in the sea, in their natural environment, is as awesome as you can picture it and beyond. Very nice staff, excellently prepared and they make this experience even better, showing their knowledge and the kiwi respect for all nature living.

Seal Swim tour is such a lovely tour company. We were one of the first tours out this season and were offered the option of a full refund due to the water temperature. We decided to brave the cold for the experience and I'm so glad we did. It was unbelievable getting to see the seals up close in their... More

Who knew wild seals could be so friendly - happily frolicking in the (freezing cold) water but thanks to the full body wet suit, you can join them! Get up close and personal and if you're unlucky enough not to have the opportunity, Seal Swim give almost a complete refund!

We were the last trip before the Kaikoura earthquake on Sunday night. The Seal Swim outlet was very professional and equipped us fully with a complete wetsuit, including hood, overjacket, socks and gloves. The only bit that is exposed is the bit of your face not covered by the mask. And I can confirm, they even have masks for short-sighted... More
