In need of some work to upgrade the pathway. Walking along the esplanade was not comfortable or relaxing with overhanging trees, cracks in the path and definitely not wide enough. Lucky the beach is only twenty meters away.
The esplanade is very long but a scenic walk along Hervey Bay and Urangan. Great to walk, jog or even bike ride. Public toilets, bins, picnic tables, BBQS and even gym equipment is along the esplanade.

The pathway is a great way to walk or ride to see the coast line from Beach to Beach with exercise benches along the way for the fitness of those who like to use them as well as water taps, well thought out I feel
Very hot day but a flat long ride. A few places ti stop the big wharf. Lots of restaurants. A swim at high tide. Well work the exercise. Our hotel had free bikes.. but you can hire from several spots google them about 30 dollars...More
There are quite a few sections of the esplanade that have received a face lift over the past couple of years making it a beautiful spot to bring the family and relax. One spot in particular is at the surf life saving club.
I spent 6 weeks at the Mantra hotel at the end of the esplanade and walked the esplanade for exercise each night as well as weekends. So much to see and do along the full 16kms. Heaps of restaurants to eat at, Enzo’s and Aquavue...More

hervey bay is not big and doable either with bike, walk or motorized wheel chair
cant really place it in my mind as we did not go there for brekkie, but somehow I think about mid esplanade.......
