Snobish place - but also a Peruvian "reality"

Beautiful and relaxing beach. The sunset was gorgeous. A nice place to go with family and friends to relax. Lots of nice restaurants and night life.

This beach shows you a very different "Peru" as it shows you only the wealthy and beautiful people. The beach is a (yes, sure, beautiful) gated community and even parents let personnel push their babies' strollers (hey, it is 2016, not 1900!?!). The whole "town" has many shops and restaurants. The whole is not a reflection of Peru...but as a... More

It's great if you want to stay for the summer with your family. You have to rent a house in a condominium. Only a couple of hotels. The condominiums in Asia are expensive but safe and complete. They have inside pools, parks, some have restaurants, and nearby have the Boulevard Asia department store, where you can find restaurants, stores, discos. The... More

This beach community which is about one hour away from Lima has many upscale private homes and a center for clubs and restaurants. It is not a destination for tourists and you should only go as a side trip with a local.

Asia is more of a Limenos weekend attraction for people who want some beachtime R&R, than a tourist destination, with most people renting villas at the many private enclaves (we stayed at Sol y Mar). Big, wide expanses of beach that feel almost desert-like and there is often a haze, but the sunsets can be awesome. Super quiet during the... More

This beach and its sorroundings is really nice, but you need to be a local guy to appreciate it and enjoy it. If you are a guest of a friend do not miss it, if not, do not waste your time.

Nice beach in Asia but the rest of the place is not so good. It's mostly a group of gated communities on the beach with no beach access for non-property holders and the main attraction seems to be a cheesy shoppy mall.

We recently tried to visit Playa Asia based mainly on recommendations from other Tripadvisor contributors only to find that there is no public beach there! We even stopped to ask some police officers where there was a spot to swim, and they replied that there was not a safe location in that area due to crime. What a disappointment considering... More

I went to cayma for second time this february, the asia boulevard has a sort of places to shopping, to eat, to drink and to dance, the beach has a medium waves but run, excellent for bodyboard and some days for surfing, the girls are beautifull, ideal for surfers and young people. Come on and live our own experience!!
