Went primarily for the children play park and the nature walk, morning turned out to be a great success. The visual aids explains what he buildings had looked like in years gone by was an interesting feature.

Well restored old monastery and water mill in northern Zealand. See the monastery and its history. Also having a functionary old water mill, which can be seen working.

The whole place is mantained in a very pure way, respecting the old buildings and stones without adding too many extra elements to them. You get to imagine how it used to be. Nature around it is also beautiful. Good cakes at the café!

When you see the monastery today only a minor wing of the massive monastery remains. The history of the place is truly impressive and is well worth a visit
