The Palmachim Beach National Park is a well-known recreation site for beach lovers, but it is also a nature site that preserves the natural beach, coastal limestone ridge and shifting sand dunes. Tel Yavneh-Yam is also located within the national park. The park includes a beach for swimming, indigenous coastal flora and fauna, a huge embankment from the Canaanite city, a sea turtle farm, a visitor service center, chair rental, beach umbrellas for sale, shaded areas on a declared beach, picnic tables, lifeguards during the bathing season and first-aid services. For details regarding bathing times, visit our website.

I went right before shabbat so it was pretty crowded, but the beach is more beautiful than in tel aviv, and has more locals and fewer tourists. I even saw a hang glidet flying across all the beaches with a banner telling us shabbat candle...More

Nice beach that is park of a nature reserve. Sand is nice (but could be MUCH cleaner). Water is nice (but could be MUCH cleaner). Restrooms could be MUCH MUCH MUCH cleaner. Plenty of parking.

You can find cool people in this beach, a lot of parties, surfing and there's an ancient castle in the cliffs above the beach.
