The gorge is the standout attraction. Thankfully the local aboriginals fought for over 11 tears for custody of this remarkable area. Their care will maintain this asset for future generations. It is a very spiritual and peaceful place well worth the trip.

It's prearranged on the train or when you purchase your tickets for the Ghan. They drop off the guests who aren't going on tours at the Katherine Information Centre and then carry onto the Gorge for the cruise.
