We did the star pass with canapes $110 each, and didn't think it was value for money. 4 different canapes, but lots of wine or beer, so that was good. We were underwhelmed by the lights, we didn't see them from the platform when it was dark, so whether you would have understood it better, I don't know.

Lovely trip to this amazing light installation. We paid $49 for the basic trip: pick up at hotel and 1 hour walk around the installation. It’s was atmospheric and worth the money. A lovely introduction by an indigenous lady and lots of space and low lighting on the track meant you could really enjoy the spectacle of light. There was a bit of light pollution, probably coming from the people who paid to have a dining experience, along with the noise of cheering and clapping which spoilt the serenity of the place. Our coaches kept their engines running a bit too long too, which spoilt the silence. But this is easily remedied for future tours - wonderful experience nonetheless

Our family of 4, 12y and 19yr, did this on our first night of arriving at Uluru and it was fantastic. A beautiful way to see the sunset with Uluru in the background, be provided with a drink and nibblies and take in the breathtaking beauty of the area. The lights were magical and being able to walk among the lights was absolutely stunning. We loved. It, the kids loved it. A memorable experience and fun for the whole family. I would recommend your best photographer to take the photos and the rest of the family sit back and enjoy the lights. Truly a lovely experience to your holiday in this area.

We made a reservation for the Fields of Light dinner experience, which began with a picturesque sunset over Uluru while we enjoyed canapés and drinks. After this lovely start, we proceeded to have our dinner. However, the dinner itself did not quite meet our expectations. To elaborate, the dinner commenced with a soup and a bread roll, followed by a buffet. Regrettably, the slow-cooked kangaroo meat was somewhat tough, and we had hoped for a more flavorful and exquisite dining experience. If you're considering booking the Fields of Light and dinner separately, it might be a better approach.

What a fantastic evening - to be honest didn’t know what to expect but what we say was tremendous in every way and what a backdrop to have Uluru. The night sky was clear with the constellations as well as clear visibility of Jupiter and Venus. For good measure we were also treated with a Shooting Star - great night and excellent company, well worth going to see. A truly great evening!

This was only a short evening trip where you wander through the field of light display but it is a beautiful display. Very colourful. It covers a huge area. Well worth a visit. The only slight downside was how long it took to get us all back on the bus but still worth 5 stars.

A wonderful evening visiting Field of Lights From hotel transport to the short journey to the viewing site, all do well organised. On arrival we were led to the viewpoint and met our wonderful hosts. Savve our Guide Host had a great humour and personality and was helpful, informative with facts and figures about the light installation by Bruce Monroe and how many lights are in this creation on the 49 Hectares , how and who were Involved in facilitating this spectacle. We were served bubbly or beer or wine / soft drinks or water along with a lovely tasty Canapé selection . Danielle and William along with Savve certainly enhanced the enjoyment of the evening, they were attentive to all. Danielle from Dundee in Scotland and William were an asset to the evening. Savve assisted with making the experience so memorable and taking photos for everyone. The field of light was truly SPECTACULAR , A visit not to miss. Thank you !

What a beautiful, timeless, wonderful piece of art in the middle of the desert. Truly majestic and what an idea to create this. There are many ways to see this, and we did so just by laying the cheaper option. It was approx $46pp to get in, and that included a free shuttle pick up from the hotel. I'm glad we did this. The bus takes you to literally the middle of no where, and they allow you 45 mins to walk the loop. Bring a good camera! It's very hard to take photos of this place. You'll need a camera with long exposure settings. The only downfall was that there isn't really any imagery or stories to go with the lights. If you quote the guy behind us it was just 'lights sticking out of the ground'. Getting a photo of the lights can be hard too cos they change colours and turn off too.

We did the tour with dinner. Cocktails to watch the sunset followed by buffet dinner, followed by a talk about the stars, followed by a walk through the installation. Field of light itself is very cool. Lights on stalks that seem like underwater plants that move slightly in the breeze and change color in undulating waves. The long path is worth it to get the full experience. Overall a lovely evening.

Highly recommend this adventure. The evening started with appetizers & sparkling wine. Dinner included a variety of Australian favorites - "Roo" stew & barramundi for those of us eager to try new dining options. Music was provided during dinner - the native didgeridoo performed by a talented musician. After dinner was a star gazing experience with a knowledgeable astronomer. The night sky is different down under. You can learn from the presentation or simply enjoy the star show. There's a chance to walk thru the Field of Lights after dark. It's spectacular. This excursion is really worth the money and your evening. Five stars.
