We rented our bikes at Queenstown Bike Tours, which has a shop at the start of the trail at the old Chinese village in Arrowtown. Plenty of free parking there. Very friendly and helpful. Excellent bikes. Cycle down the incredibly scenic Arrow river, cross the AJ Hackett Bridge (bungy bridge), into the Gibbston Valley. Have some lunch at the tavern,... More

What a great day cycling with great bikes under a beautiful blue sky along some of South Island's prettiest riverside scenery. Nicky even picked us up from our hotel and drove us home after a full day cycling and visiting four wineries for a tasting. The majority of the cycle is done before lunch beside the aqua green water of... More

These guys are super friendly and helpful. Their location is the last tranquil spot in Queenstown down by the stream near the historic miners town. Super little café next door. And ice creams to die for up the hill in Arrowtown main street on your return.

My friends and I were blown away by the amazing service we got from the team at Queenstown Bike Tours. They went out of their way to ensure we were totally comfortable with our bikes - helping us to choose the best ones for our ride and going so far as to swap the seats for us ladies who wanted... These guys were really helpful and in addition the have great bikes. They are at the start of an easy bike route that runs for about 90 mins max.....mostly downhill! However there are lots of routes to choose from. They were very happy to collect us when we called them from the tavern we ended up in.

QBT provide well maintained, comfortable bikes, suitable ride options and very useful information. The Queenstown Trail is diverse and beautiful, with enough challenges to make the experience an adventure. Perfect family outing with teenagers.

Great bikes, fabulous trail with lots of vertical & challenge, even though following the river. Spectaculour scenery, crossing the river multiple times on ingenious bridges. Route from Arrowtown to Bungie bridge & beyond heartily recommended.

We went to Arrowtown for lunch and ended up hiring a bicycle and cycling for 14 kms! We had no intention of doing this before we went there. We cycled along the Arrow River, along cycle trails and over bridges, that are only accessible by pedestrians and cyclists. Very beautiful and serene along this trail. The path was undulating but...
