About
Drive the Scenic Fraser Canyon with its’ seven mountain tunnels through the historic heart of British Columbia and relive the biggest ‘rush’ on the Gold Rush Trail. A location so unique the ‘afterlife’ have come back to use it as a playground. Early explorers refer to it as “a place where no human being should venture”, and man & nature battle here for supremacy.

Glad to have made the last tram
Oct. 2020
Last tour of the year! Lucky to get a booking, although no one else seemed interested. We had the entire park to ourselves.
Pricey at $35 per head, but a unique experience tramming across the gorge. A hokey tourist trap on the other side, but little opportunity to spend money as the dining room was closing, the shops didn't offer much in the way of unique items, there was no candy at the candy shop, nor ice cream at the creamery.
Cute little mini-attraction for the kids, some fun and some significant yet troubling stories of the Gate itself and its historical impact.
Everyone should do it. But it is quite out of the way.

Amazing Day!
Sep. 2020 • Couples
I have to say that going down to the bottom far exceeded our expectations! It is so well thought out, lots of picture opportunities, the most amazing burger I’ve had in a long time, and super friendly staff! Well worth the money!

they could be more family friendly, add washrooms by the ticket booth , cheaper prices.
Sep. 2020
I am born and raised in BC. I have never been to Hell's gate until yesterday. It is beautiful but over priced. We paid 97 dollars for 3 adults to ride the tram. The only washrooms are located after the tram ride. we had had to leave the line up because there was no washrooms available by the ticket booth. My sister really needed the washroom and could not wait. We were told to drive 10 mins down the highway. There is a rest stop 1 min west of Hell"s gate with washrooms.
My suggestion, please put portable washrooms at the top by the ticket booth. We were not the only group asking for a washroom when we got to the ticket booth.

Beautiful Day Visiting Hell’s Gate!
Sep. 2020 • Friends
The views are amazing and the information about Indigenous people, the fisheries and Simon Fraser are so interesting. The Fraser River gorge is beautiful! We loved that everything was well spaced and mostly outdoors , the Covid safety measures were very well planned.... it’s a great place to visit with family and very safe..

Dad’s happy
Aug. 2020
My dad enjoys this visit and that’s what is all about.
I wish there’s gold panning available at least it offset the cost.
Overall it’s a good trip for the entire family

Lovely tram ride across the Fraser River with my family!!
Aug. 2020 • Family
Enjoyable trip across the Fraser River. We spent about an hour on the other side and had ice cream, watched interesting videos about Simon Fraser’s expedition, salmon ladders and spawning, and a raft exhibition down the river. Bathrooms were clean, restaurant isn’t offering hot lunches since Covid (but no surprise there. We expected some things to be closed), the foot bridge was open and allowed for a great pic of my family. Souvenir shop is open, too! Super happy with what we were able to experience!

OVER priced tourist trap
Aug. 2020 • Family
Way over priced tourist trap group of 12 (4 adults 8 kids) cost over $300 and we left after 20 mins almost everything is closed on the other side of the tram we drove from Prince George and the Shuswap and left with 8 super disappointed kids not only is almost everything closed the upkeep of the other side is horrible so much needs to be done will not waste my time or money going back there again

Disappointing. Not worth it.”
Oh my god...60 dollars for me and my son!!!... no gold panning ,no fudge.. no ice cream... no access to other side of suspension bridge No hot food.... You cut down the services but not the price. There was nobody there, what a sad experience. I will be surprised if they last the rest of the year. New management at the very least is needed ...horrible just horrible

Big Time waste of money!!!!
Jul. 2020 • Couples
An absolute waste of money. Souvenir shop was open and filled with over priced garbage items made in china.
Restraunt only serving hot dogs? Would have been nice to know this before spending money to go over on the Tram.
Anyway save your money. You can see everything from the parking lot.
We will never go back!!! I might as well have just burned the money.

Hello! At this time - there are not any tour operators that have a one day scheduled trip up here on a regular basis. We can provide further information (if you would like to contact us directly) on a tour operator that comes here daily - en route to/from the Canadian Rockies - Vancouver. Other than that - renting a car is the best option. Public transportation is very limited. :(
