We just returned from another late-July stay at the Manning Park Resort - four days and nights immersed in the clean and clear mountain air, enjoying the outdoors, with all their sights and sounds, the resort and its amenities, our lodging, and the overall wonderful peace and quiet of the area. As done last year, and a couple of previous... More

We stayed at this campground at end of June, weather was not our ally, it got worse by day and at night temperature dropped to just above freezing so you should come prepared. The gravel sites are large enough and have privacy, washrooms are clean and have showers, there is a playground and an amphitheatre for various events. Lightning Lake... More

I have stayed here in the past for a family reunion and on business. This time I was in the lodge (The Last Resort) again for a meeting with a different crew and man has it taken a nose-dive and was in a serious state of disrepair. Spent the night in the main lodge building but restaurant had closed by... More

Tree runs on the Orange chair are a blast. The chairs (with plaques at the base indicating the year of construction) are old (1967 and 1970) but they get you to the top. Definitely worth it to check this ski hill out. Prices are pretty cheap and there are no few lines. The powder that was there lasted all day... More

Took our teenage grandsons for a couple nights. We had a great time and enjoyed playing ping pong, pool, and enjoyed swimming at the end of the day. The pool and amenities are wonderful. There is so much to do ~ skiing, snowboarding, skating, cross country skiing, etc. The boys enjoyed snowboarding up the hill. We ate twice in the dining... More

Stayed over Chtistmas to snowshoe and unwind. To be fair, the room was alright, and the pool area was a nice spot to relax after a day of playing outside. Their major problem is in service in the dining room and pub. Had four meals and am not complaining about the food, but where they hired the servers is beyond... More
