We found this beach with a privately guided ATV tour. It is extremely remote and feels like something out of a Hollywood movie set - unbelievably gorgeous. It is challenging to find, but worth it. We got there on ATVs from downtown Las Terrenas, but...More

Very easy to find, just head east from Las Terrenas, stick to the coast, you can't miss it. So peaceful and beautiful here, with an unusual large grassy area under the palm trees for shade. Gentle water, no riptides, few people and we saw a...More

This is a wider beach with very nice sand. Like many of the beaches in the puerto plata area, the sand is like cooper color powder. I think is a very nice place to stay and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

The opposite side of the majority of the beaches, Playa Moron faces a big hotel complex. Its wide soft sand beach, is a pleasure to the toes. Its quiet and you often have the beach to yourself......sheer delight.

We spent half a day and the kids were begging to stay longer. There's a smooth rock wall that acts as a break for the waves. Sand is soft and beautiful. One of the boys got us coconuts out of a tree to drink. Great...More

Gorgeous beach with tender sand and almost no other beach-goers. Just beach, sea, palms and us. We spent a whole day there and in the afternoon we were (almost) alone - there are a few friendly locals who come every now and then to offer...More

Rented ATVs and found this piece of paradise thanks to a local! I can honestly say I have never seen anything quite so beautiful. Huge waves.....not a person to be seen , no garbage, just incredible!

Regular car should do it! The security guard at the gate will watch your car for a few pesos and the walk is then 5 min. to the beach
