Amazing clear water beach, make sure to walk around as there are several breathtaking spots of Samana mountains. Best beach in las Terrenas, Family friendly.

The beach is beautiful and clean, though there are a lot of tourists. Don't bother snorkeling because there are no fish or corals.

We used Violetta Fun Tours and had a great time hanging out on the beach. A river runs into the beach and is a great place for the kids to play. There is also a great shop to pick up souvenirs and a perfect lunch.

We are staying at the Playa Bonita Beach Residence, 5 minutes walk from Playa Bonita. The beach is awsome, can walk on the beach for almost a kilometer, or use the small sidewalk ajacent. Although we had choppy waves, it made it more fun to...More

Playa Bonita is a perfect beach! There is a great little surf (beach-break) that is good for beginner surfers. Surf boards can be rented with or without lessons on the beach by a couple of surf shops/schools there. The sand bottom, water and beach are...More

Beautiful beach, not crowded and there is a nice small beach “restaurant” which is family ran and has only a “natural bathroom”. Good beach for a relaxing days - but unfortunately nothing to see by snorkeling :(. No problem to park the car somewhere close...More

I liked Playa Bonita better than Playa Coson. It was more beautiful and lively. I took a very long walk, it was perfect for me!

I love this beach for it’s soft sand, beautiful palm trees and idealic waters. A few restaurants along the beach, but if you keep walking it just gets more beautiful.

One of our favorite beaches in this area, with a couple of cool bars and the possibility to rent surfboards and boogie boards. Relatively empty and lots of space for nice walks.

I have never seen anything more beautiful than Playa Bonita. The beach is perfect - calm areas for swimming, paddle boarding or kayaking (if you're more coordinated than my husband and I). This is a gorgeous bay where you can see the sandy bottom as...More

I suggest you ask on the Las Terrenas forum. You'll get answers from people who live in the area. I was there once only for sunset and it was super calm in the east part, but because of trade winds, it may depend on the... More

Hello: I would say you could have a decent meal from RD$500 to RD$800 per person = US$10 to $15 in any of the restaurants around. Regards, Carlos
