Unlike Port Douglas this is a more boutique beach. Not too busy...just perfect ! The little restaurants along the beach are wonderful as well.

We preferred this location over Port Douglas as it was quieter and not so many commercial or bar facilities. The reason being we come away to escape the city life, and chill. Beautiful beach. The water is like bath water, so warm. The sand is clean and the facilities are close by and lovely.

Lifeguard. Beach lovely for walking. Water great for water sports. Ocean pool looked nice, but not a priority for us.

No need to go overseas palm cove is beautiful. Long beach walks. The esplanade is lined and framed with gardens and tropical vegetation. Truly relaxing and spectacular. Good photo opportunities.
