Sadly after Cyclone Debbie this lagoon had to be closed. The council are not being very quick to fix it. This is really tough on the local businesses. Hurry up Council.

Such a nice lagoon with shade if you need it! Only down fall that you can't have a beer anywhere near this area

Nice lagoon at Airlie Beach. A good alternative as there is no beach/and jellyfishes in the sea. A lot of people at the lagoon but you normally find a quiet place to lay down. The lagoon in Cairns looks nicer but this one isn't bad.
