Before visiting the War Graves and the Cowra POW ruins, give yourself some time to watch this clip in the Information Centre, free entry. Well done and unusual. Only 9 minutes playtime.

The 20th anniversary of the hologram display was being celebrated on the day we arrived. The hologram really does a great job of putting the history of "the breakout" into perspective for the visitor. Good range of great wine, jams, honey available too :)More

Totally loved the hologram show of the Cowra Breakout. Came here to make a video about the breakout and the hologram just made the story perfect.

You must go here if you are in Cowra. They have a hologram of the Cowra prisoner of war breakout which is excellent. They also have a great display of wines, olive oils, balsamic vinegars, and many other items from around the area. Not to...More

Have been here a few times when passing through Cowra. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and there are some lovely things in the shop to buy.

Well appointed tourist centre with an excellent presentation of the WWII prison camp escape bid, including a clever holographic video. Staff are friendly and helpful, and an abundance of local produce on display.
