Here’s a quick and easy way to know about the Cowra breakout- all of 10 mins or so in the visitors centre . Even the young kids were completely entranced ! Brilliant .

Pleased we walked in here on the first day. Lawerence was s wealth if knowledge and we were able to plan our stay and have questions answered with ease. The hologram was fantastic too and s great introduction to the town’s history.

The story of the break out is so well told, interesting to watch and lots of history to take in. The centre offers good souvenirs, quality items at good prices.

A well throughout presentation of the Cowra breakout via a hologram. Shop with local produce, cafe and facilities next door. Great stop for first timers.

Before visiting the War Graves and the Cowra POW ruins, give yourself some time to watch this clip in the Information Centre, free entry. Well done and unusual. Only 9 minutes playtime.
