A very peaceful and respectful tribute to those lives lost from all Nationalities during World War 2.

A quiet reflective spot that helps build more of the understanding of the events around the war and Cowras role

After going to the Japanese Gardens and Prisoner of War Campsite-this compliments the experience. Beautifully kept next to the local cemetary

This is not far from the POW camp. It is a very small cemetery and only takes a couple of minutes to walk around. Still well worth a look.

This war cemetery contains graves of the Japanese involved in the POW Breakout during World War Two. It is a wonderful tribute to these men and very well cared for by the Cowra community

We visited and so moved by the peace around the cemetery. Beautiful manicured gardens in a beautiful garden. Lovely.

Solemn site. Worth a visit in conjunction with the Australian war graves and the Cowra prisoner of war camp.

Nicely laid out cemetery but of more interest to me was the Australian cemetery next to it where soldiers killed during the break out are buried. One tree in there was planted by the Crown Prince who became the Emperor of Japan.
