Fantastic Experience, the Abseiling was fantastic and in such a scenic location overlooking the Megalong Valley, Lunch was even impressive as the gourmet sandwiches were a real treat, and the canyoning was the show stealer especially final abseil through a 50 odd metre water fall. The guides were professional and friendly and myself an my partner had a fantastic day,... More

I thoroughly enjoyed the day with ASoM. Their 'NO RUSH' approach put even the most trepid participants at ease. Clear and simple instruction. My only SLIGHT disappointment was that we seemed to pack up earlier than expected as would have liked to do one or two more descents. But having said that I would definitely recommend ASoM and this activity.

Thanks Peter! Sometimes time constraints mean we have to get moving sooner than WE'D like also! We're totally stoked that our guides put you at ease and made your experience so enjoyable that you wanted to keep on going. I'm not sure what exact experience you were taking part in but sometimes we need to meet National Parks booking times... More

I gone through ASM for booking a canyoning tour with a group of friends, they were great and provided all the necessary information and gear. Guides are friendly and fun. After a few canyon trips we decided to do a rope safety course with ASM and had a great two days learning skills and practicing in the blue mountains. Opted... More

We love when people return for more adventure and *especially* when they're back to learn! What could be more satisfying for a guide than gifting people with the skills they need to get out there and experience their own wild adventures!? Brilliant! We're always up for teaching people more advanced skills or simply providing a refresher- If you ever feel... More

We were really excited about the course, especially when we heard it was only a group of 4 of us (two couples). We had small experience in climbing gym and the other couple a more extensive experience. Straight away, we felt like we were too "basic" for the guide who gave more of the attention to the other couple. We... More

Hi Marion, Thank you very much for your review. I'm not quite sure what's gone awry on your course but this definitely isn't the standard that we try and set! Typically we receive nothing but praise for our guides knowledge AND interpersonal skills- We pride ourselves on providing truly great instructional courses that are in the end, fantastic experiences that... Wow - what a day, definitely not for the faint hearted. We did the abseiling & canyoning trip which we received a voucher for Christmas. Guides were laid back but very knowledgeable. We entered the day quite open minded because we didn't know what we were in for but even in the most challenging parts of the day we felt... More

Wow what a glowing review! And it sounds like you almost enjoyed lunch more than the adventure! Please be sure to visit the Altitude Deli in Blackheath if you find youself in the upper Mountains! (They have awesome treats as well as the best Sandwiches anywhere over 1000m above sea level!) We typically advise that the spare clothes are left... More

These guys were absolutely professional; took us through the training and safety briefing thoroughly then super-helpful and calm as we climbed off the side of progressively higher cliff faces. Would completely recommend this experience!

I've just finished the two days wilderness navigation course. Brian is the most amazing instructor, whose passion for the mountains and hiking is infectious. Highly recommend for all levels - I'm a rank beginner and never felt uncomfortable or out of place on the course! Thanks Brian!! Hiking will never be the same again… trails optional!
