Leura village is one of the nicest in the Blue Mountains, with a wide main street, lined with cherry trees. We were there in late September and the delicate pink and white blossoms stretched up and down the street. It couldn’t be prettier.
The mall is a nice place to browse and stop for breakfast or lunch.
The main drag has cute cafes and upmarket shops and boutiques. You won’t find many bargains here but, even if you’re only window-shopping, you’ll find some beautiful things. There are hand-made candles, clothing, giftwares, homewares and antiques and vintage.
One of the best stops is Josophan’s which sells beautiful, hand-made chocolates.
A quirky stop is The Teapot Museum and, if you have kids with you, a fun one is the Leura Candy Store (which is tucked away in the Leura arcade).
There are pretty little corners all over Leura. Even just walking down a small lane alongside the Wayzgoose Café, we spotted a pretty floral mural and small flower garden.
It’s worth noting that parking around the shops is tight but we drove a little further downhill, just beyond the shops, and we found a spot quite quickly and walked back.

This is a beautiful area of the mountains with some really unique places to shop. However, the staff at Whisk (a homewares store) were so cruel and condescending it has ruined the scenery for me. So enjoy with caution, if they smell blood they will go in for the kill. Horrible horrible treatment, not just as customer, but as a person.

Always expensive - Double Bay ("double pay") prices in most shops. Very crowded at weekends. Easter was a nightmare. The public toilets were an absolute disgrace given how important this place is for Blue Mountains tourism. The Council needs to lift its game. Outside of the shopping area the village is quiet and charming

I found this little village a very lovely place to visit. There are many cafes and restaurants with delicious food offered at very reasonable prices. I spent hours shopping; from candy stores, antique stores, to local product stores, and of course…. souvenirs stores.

We love the main street of Leura, we enjoying come here for a blue mountains, outing, walking up and down the mall taking it all in, and visiting the wonderful Op Shops. Our favourite place to eat is the Leura Chinese.

There are people everywhere in Leura as they go about visiting the village’s wonderful gardens in Spring. Due to drought, it has been a tough year for gardens but recent rains brought relief and the gardens are stunning. Plan your walks around the residential areas and work out where, in the streets, you might get a park.

We wandered around and found some nice little stores. There are a lot of Cafes and parking spots are quite hard to find especially on the weekends. Loved the Toy Shop, Health Food store and of course Chocolates. VERY disappointed that only a few of the Cafes/Restaurants had a high chair for our one year old or sufficient room for her pram.

The Mall offers a delightful array of shops , cafes & restaurants. It always a pleasure to stroll down the street window shopping as there are plenty of boutique style shops to keep a keen shopper interested.

Leura Mall is not a "mall" in the American sense of the word. It is a street, and therefore "open" 24/7.
Most of the cafes will open for breakfast and coffee from 7am onwards, for example, The Bakehouse opens at 7am.
But many of the shops, although open 7 days a week, do not open until 10am.
