The house and gardens are quite beautiful and the collection of toys and nik nacks is impressive. However, the girl at the front desk was abrupt and rather rude. The price was a rip off considering the poor service and that there was no leaflet...More

This place is not a Toy and Railway Museum . The house is a lovely old home but you feel like an intruder sneaking a peek into their cupboards. No provision at all for prams either in the house or gardens. The railway museum is...More

Found this by accident while wandering around Blue Mountains on way to Leura. It is just an old house from the outside, but on going inside it is an Alladins cave of toys through the ages collected over a period of time by the owners....More

I enjoyed the toys - every kind from all parts of the world and from different ages The house itself was beautiful. The grounds and the station was also well kept. Worth a stop if you have an hour to kill.

I was rather shocked and upset to see a whole shelf of nazi figurines including hitler. There is a small disclaimer and interesting to see how German kids were indoctrinated, However, this display should be removed as it does not fit in at all with...More

Each time we have time on the Blue Mountains we visit the house, museum and gardens. It is a credit to the owners for the fantastic displays of old toys from around the world. Every type of toy is displayed from many eras. There is...More

If you are a toy collector or train enthusiast this is a place to visit. Some children might not enjoy as the toys are older style or they may not have seen or heard of them. The outdoor train model is quaint and the room...More

While it is a grand house in a commanding position overlooking a magnificent valley view, only a fraction of the house is open to the public, and most of that is just to house the immense collection of vintage toys. So, as an historic house,...More
