Queensland is known for it's magnificent beaches and I am not going to argue with those who say Trinity is the best of the lot. Nearby Palm Cove seems to be over run with tourists but Trinity has few visitors and a lovely laid back...More

It's an excellent, clean beach. We stayed in a beachfront apartment for 6 nights. Has a sprinkling of restaurants and bars. Lots of picnic areas. Has a nice, laid back vibe. Good for families. If you're concerned about stingers/jellyfish, there is a little netted area...More

Stayed in Trinity Beach with my wife for 4 nights and had a great time. Regular bus service to Palm Cove and Cairns which was very handy. A few good local restaurants and a lovely beach. A great place to relax and unwind.

So much more relaxing and natural then Cairns. Plenty of shops and restaurants in Trinity Beach but close enough to Cairns to get there easily whenever you want to.

As the others said, no problem if you follow the warnings and obey the signs. I understand that normally the crocs would only be found in the creek way down the beach form the supervised area anyway.
