We stayed at a beach apartment which overlooks the beautiful beach scenery, even during the storm the beach is still beautiful on its own way. The footpath is very clean (no dog poo) and levelled which is very useful for our sons who use the...More

Trinity in my favorite beach in Cairns, it's community and tourism mixed nicely together. Great coffee and cocktails on offer right on the beach 💜💙💚❤️

We visited Cairns' northern beaches: yorkers knob, trinity, clifton, palm cove and ellis beaches. Only Palm cove is different, all other beaches are similar. They are beautiful beach, but that's it. There are plenty of apartments nearby but not many restaurants or shops. I guess...More

Quiet tranquil township suitable for retirees as there is not much to do. Apart from the wonderful beach with a pleasant scenic Esplanade walk Trinity is very much a sleepy hollow. The Hotel is spacious but nothing out of the ordinary with the meal choices....More

Nice safe beach patrolled by life guards. Plenty of signage re stingers and crocodiles, and this beach has stinger net. Great family destination and a walking track to the headland, plus great view to the islands.

We stopped here for some dinner on way back to cairns. But we loved the look of this beach. Great playground for the kids too. Would love to come back one day and sit and relax.

We have stayed in Trinity Beach several times. It is close to the main hiway and yet the town itself is self contained. The restaurants and shops are fairly priced for a vacation area and the locals blend with the tourists. It is very safe...More

Trinity Beach is just beautiful. If you're after some tropical paradise right on the ocean, get a beach-front apartment and it's all there. And unlike nearby Palm Cove, it's really quiet, which we loved! Almost no-one on the beach. No shops on the beachfront. Just...More

We went from cairns on a bike. Lovely beach with nice restaurants around. It took us 1 hour with bike. Worth the trip. Relaxing windy beach with a nice sidewalk. At the far end a place that you can bring your dog.

As the others said, no problem if you follow the warnings and obey the signs. I understand that normally the crocs would only be found in the creek way down the beach form the supervised area anyway.

Yes, like all the beaches near Cairns, Trinity has a stinger net during the stinger season from November to May, and the nets are usually deployed a week or so before November. The closest point for boats that will take you... More
