Great way to visit the wineries in the Clare Valley

We had a great time exploring the Clare Valley over the Easter long weekend cycling to some wineries along the Riesling Trail. It is a great way to experience the Clare Valley.

This is an enjoyable trail to discover the hidden wineries of the Clare district and passes many tourist attractions such as Seven Hills winery and historic buildings.

Andrew delivered our ebikes and we had them for 4 days. What an amazing way to see the region. We definitely nailed the experience by covering good distances and still enjoying the outdoor freshness, sites and sounds without becoming shattered by the end of the day. He provides good size saddle bags with locks and helmets.

It had been on out to-do list for a while and we weren't dissapointed! We stayed in Auburn and cycled to Seven hill stopping in at Shut the gate, Crabtree, Mocadunda and Skillagalee on the way as well as a beer in the beautiful SevenHill pub. All up it was probably about 50km of cycling in the end, but didn't... More

We were two couples who hadn't ridden bikes for a while (understatement!) and very much enjoyed the exercise and scenery. Recommend it!

We are so lucky in the Clare Valley to have this amazing asset. Right in the door step it covers Clare to Auburn. Great for a casual walk or bike ride.

Clare Valley is one of our favourite wine districts in Australia and experiencing it by bike only adds to the experience. Bike track is great and flat. Map easy to read. Very varied scenery along the road between Clare and Auburn. Last five kilometers heading towards Auburn are the least interesting, but Auburn itself is well worth a visit. Bikes... More

The Riesling Trail is one the best rails trails in Australia. Good signage, and plenty of access to wineries alongside the trail, coupled with a great and smooth trail itself. Ended up riding the whole trail in several parts over the weekend, and stopped at a few wineries, all of which were too convenient. Plenty of other riders on the... More

Enjoyed the ride it was a warmish day when we did it. Perhaps April or May would have been better temperature wise that is. But otherwise a well maintained track better I think on a bike with at least 35mm width tyres. The graderent is too hard. The path in places has sloping shoulders. Think if you are wanting to... Always delightful exploring the trail and finding the natural changes in nature along the way. Kids love it on their bikes, dog friendly and very safe.
