Well worth the short trip to access. The falls are beautiful and it's mesmerizing to just sit and watch the water cascading down over the rocks. One of Tasmania's most well known and beautiful falls.

Well worth the visit, moderately busy, but plenty of room on a glorious walking track through 10mtr tall tree ferns in abundance with many fern variations & rainforest trees. The final approach to the c/park is approx 8klm, of well maintained single lane gravel road....More

While not the most spectacular falls, these falls offer a great walk in the bush and a pretty spot to spend a few hours. These falls have also not suffering the over tourist issues that now faces many other sites in Tasmania.

Normally, Liffey Falls is a great place to visit, however, a few days ago we travelled up there from Launceston to have another walk. We discovered that both the walking trail and the falls were closed off. In addition, the gravel road was in bad...More

We drove towards Liffey Falls however there was a sign inside the park saying the road was closed! This was very disappointing. Be warned to check, prior to driving all the way there.

If some reserves are going to be closed, the signs need to be put on the turn offs, starting from the town that people will be driving from, not turn up and sorry road closed make people drive right into the area

Definitely go to Cataract Gorge in Launceston. Driving up to Cradle Mountain is lovely but you need a whole day there as the tours are quite long. We stayed at Jackey's Marsh which we loved. Fabulous views of the... More

The reserve is well-equipped for visitors. There are toilets with disabled access and sheltered picnic areas and gas barbecues at the upper end of the reserve. A short walk leads from near the toilet block to the "Big Tree... More
