Red Rock - wow!

Amazing and dramatic views of the surrounding countryside. Definitely worth a stop off if you are in the area.

When I reach Red Rock,I found a good view.It was amazing and panoramic view. There are not too many people visit Red Rock. If... More

Short drive out of Colac, this hill gives a terrific view of the surround volcanic area and crater bowls.

Red Rock Lookout is a bit off the beaten track. We were doing the Great Ocean Road and instead of going from Geelong to Lorne we went via Colac, didn't realise it would take so long. If you're into this sort of thing would be worth the detour but it is quite out of the way. The road's great though... More

If you're driving to or from Melbourne from Timboon or any of the western towns, this is a good spot to stretch your legs, take in the view and use the public convenience. Watch out for the rare skinks. Don't run over them!

Always a great place to visit for the views of the salt and fresh water lakes and volcanic remains in the area. Can be very windy!

The place is easy to access, good condition driveway. We arrived there around 6:30pm and no one was there so we enjoyed a good quality time. This place is so beautiful, breathtaking view, especially the rainbow raised in between the valley and the sunset on the lake.

One of those rare occasions when we felt that the TA reviews weren't exactly accurate. Perhaps as we visited on a rather wet and grey day and in the middle of a very wet Spring the scenery wasn't quite as volcanic as we'd expected. It was more lush, green and undulating rather than the red, volcanic landscape depicted in many... More

This is a few kilometres from Colac. It was most unexpected to see the formations as I didn't realise they existed. Unfortunately, the viewing areas have not been cared for and are an eyesore however it it still worth seeing for the amazing views of the craters and the huge lake nearby. Was deserted when we visited - make sure... More
