There are now 20 koalas at this nature park, we spotted about half and we're more than satisfied with our experience. There are two 400m boardwalks which are a little off the ground, so you can see the koalas in their natural habitat. One of...More

This is the way a nature park should be. You can't get up close and personal with the animals, but who would want to with a koala. They bite, they pee on you, they scratch. But not much else to do here. Do it as...More

We only went to this place as it was included in our 3 park pass, wouldn't pay full price to visit. We saw 8 koalas, and did a walk around but saw no other animals. Will not be going back and wouldn't recommend it to...More

We went here as part of the Penguin Parade tour. We probably spent one hour walking around the wooden boardwalks. We saw about 8 or 9 koalas and got nice and close up to one who was right on the boardwalk. The ticket to get...More

Dear thegurudave Thanks for your review and feedback of your recent visit to the Koala Conservation Centre. I'm glad you got to see so many koalas, and you were especially lucky to see one so close on the boardwalk itself. It's a lovely, restful place...More

Love my 3 hours walk here at the sanctuary. There are 9 koalas here but I managed to spot only 7, not bad as the koalas are not caged and they are free to roam. They usually sleep between branches high up the eucalyptus tree....More

Went as a family to the Koala Park and whilst it is a good set up we only saw 4 Koalas and as usual they were asleep. I would not go back but it is a wellset up place

Can never get enough of looking at koalas... Had a sore knee..but the walk was little to both boardwalks where we did get to see around 7 koalas... Worth seeing on the Island...

It was a nice cool day for walking around the park. We were able to see a few koalas relaxing in the trees. It was off season so the park was mostly empty. That made a very nice walk.

You can buy tickets at the counter. However if you buy 3 parks pass which includes Koala Conservation Sanctuary, Penguin Parade and Churchill Island you will save some $s as it is cheaper to buy them together.
