A good stop off on your way to elsewhere. Nice bit of history over the road from the beach. Plenty of grass for the kids and/or dog to run. Lots of noisy pooing seagulls spoil it a bit.

A stone's throw from Williamstown train station, the park is delight to stroll. The view is stunning with the distance Melbourne city skyline.

A nice park to visit for a stroll, bike ride or a run. Views over Melbourne are good but there are better views of the city skyline if you go further around the bay. Park is clean and reasonably well maintained.

Visited on Tuesday 20th June. This is an area of Williamstown which has been preserved with a building from the early part of the Hobsons Bay settlement. We parked the car nearby and went for a closer look at the shot tower. You also get...More

The port-town of Williamstown was most important in the early settlement and development of Melbourne and affords interesting walks. You can get to the town by train or ferry from Melbourne. Fortunately many old buildings have survived including an old morgue which we entered on...More
