At the risk of repeating myself, beautiful scenery, clean white sand, very well kept lawns and general area, a great spot for families and good coffee as well!!

Walk the beach or explore the local beach side streets which a filled with many large, high quality and expensive homes. There's a very large size swimming baths as well as open sandy beaches. Also try the nearby café which opens for breakfast and lunch and provides excellent food, coffee and wonderful views,

Albany is full of great coastal locations, it was too cold for a swim but the location is magnificent, a grate place to swim for kids, fish as well and a lovely cafe and caravan park and you can watch lovely sun sets, it is free and lots of lawn for BBQ's.

We drove down there for a look quite little place with plenty of space for picnics or just sitting around. You can imagine this would be very crowded in summer

Not the prettiest of beaches, with the best of views but still worth a visit if it's your first time and plan to head to the Emu Point Cafe.

On a recent visit to Albany, we stayed at Emu Point motel and apartments (which I will review separately) The area is worth a visit, with views of the bay, beaches and wildflowers

It's nice to walk around emu point. I enjoy the cafe. Can get rather windy so take a bobble hat in winter

Lovely beach very close to town that has virtually no waves so really good for taking kids for a paddle and swim. Has a terrific jetty for jumping off for older kids with swim lanes set up to go from one side to the other. Good cafe close by for coffee and food.
