I was captivated with the different aboriginal art It is such an interesting place with a short presentation about the history and commerce of the sandalwood industry. The sandalwood factory has to be a highlight of our trip to Albany. Book in for a gong session it was fantastic. NOTE: make sure you travel along the Albany highway to get to the sandalwood factory, if you find yourself travelling along a train line you are lost..

Don't miss this treasure, just up the road from Albany. The ladies that work there are full of information about sandalwood, where it grows, how it's produced and so on. Who knew sandalwood was a parasite? Then there is the products, so many to choose from. You will not be disappointed.

As the name says, its a Sandalwood Factory with a retail outlet and a cafe. But what takes the cake is The Gong Experience. We just dropped in after reading the reviews and luckily got to tickets for Gong Meditation. Its an amazing experience and if you are tired from lots of walking and looking for some sound sleep treatment... More

It's no wonder why this is rated so highly on TripAdvisor since it sells a good range of products based on its sole major ingredient, sandalwood oil. You might imagine the busloads of visitors arriving and leaving with full bags (and emptier wallets perhaps). One final point - if the shop does have a special going on, you may have... More

We experienced gonging in a custom built room - deeply re-charging and highly recommended. Afterwards we steeped our senses in sandalwood. The shop is commercial and it was quite a surprise to have a gonging room attached, but Shishanna (sp? sorry) is an expert.
