Great place to show kids what the old days were like, can climb around the partly dismantled cannons and walk through batteries where ammunition was stored. Kids play ground next to the Fortress, all set in the bush

See the coastal defences and the historic exhibits. It is a big place with lots to see. It is next door to the National Anzac Centre. You can easily spend an hour here.

We visited the ANZAC centre the. Took a walk around the Princess Royal Fortress and found it all very interesting. Free entry to see it all.

Did not see any at any venue during our visit. If you contact the City of Albany, you can get the correct advice.

The fortress is free. but the new museum that is just 1 building costs $25 per person! But there is plenty too see for free at the fortress.
