I read alt of bad reviews on this establishment and went with my family to see for myself what it is like. The setting is lovely amongst the trees and the birds. A chap was playing a guitar and singing in the background The place was full of happy families and friends. The owners of the establishment were helpful and... More

Great place...atmosphere was lovely with live music, good service for how busy it was, enjoyed my Cajun prawns & avacado salad (great serve of prawns), prawn curry vanished, grilled barramundi was delicious!!! even though the wait was a little bit long we did not mind at all. Broad menu with very reasonable prices (most meals $15-$25). Eat here for lunch or just stop for a drink. The wines are lovely, however, their beer Thorny Devil beer range was our choice on a hot day (very refreshing!). Nice sheltered outdoor areas to eat...or you can sit indoors in the air conditioning. Highly recommended.

Visited Cape Bouvard for lunch as we were exploring Lake Clifton. The winery is very close to the thrombolites walkway. Nice outdoor setting with shady trees and some covered areas. Space for the kids to run round etc. Setting is a bit rustic. Food has to ordered from the inside counter. Is rather dark inside. The older gentleman who served... More

After being told they don't do tastings when they are busy we were offered a tasting after all. No information on what we were tasting. If you run a winery you have to do tasting especially if people are going to eat there too. The lady was abrupt at first but fine once we had ordered. The place needs a... More

My husband and I have just walked out. After decoding on a day of some local wineries to do tastings then buy a bottle to have with food our first stop way Cape Bouvard. A lovely lady first served us with our paddle of beers and took our food order. Then once we finished those we went back in to... More

We pulled into this place thinking how nice it was. Beautiful setting. Fish burger was very nice too although the chips weren't cooked and hard in the centre. The reason for the bad review was for the service from the old bag behind the counter, at first I thought it was because I had my sunglasses on but when I... More

After seeing The Thromilites which I was very happy to see,we thought we would have lunch in the winery next door as it looked lovely.Cold beer and wine ,but after waiting just over a hour for lunch, ask when lunch would be ready And they had forgotten but no apology or anything but our meals were lovely.
