We really enjoyed the tram ride, and the driver gave a great commentary all the way. He was really knowledgeable on the trees and surroundings, and the history of the trees also. Also the cascade falls on the river, where we stopped for a photo...More

Jason was our tram driver and gave a very informative commentary. He has a good sense of humour so we had a few laughs along the way. Travel through beautiful Karri forests and there was an opportunity to have a walk at the Cascades. Trip...More

Nice journey through the forest. We were a group of friends but with 2 young kids. The kids enjoyed the train ride whilst the adults could happily nurse the hangover. Bathroom at the station so you need to plan in advance as is 1hour45min ride.

We did the morning trip on 18th May 2011. It starts at 10:45 and costs AUD$24 for adults, not sure the price for kids. There is also an afternoon trip at 2pm. The duration of each trip is 1 and 3/4 hours and it is...More

We have done the tram ride twice with our kids. It is a great way to see Pemberton town and get to go through the forests. The train driver was so imformative and a real character. We stopped twice to get out for a walk...More

The terrible audio system made it impossible to hear the tour guide. The trip itself was incredibly slow. At one point the tour guide told our group to "put a cork in it" while we were speaking amongst ourselves at a normal volume.

We also didnt have high expectations for the tramway. Leaving 10mins late due to constant late arriving patrons wasn't a great start. However all this changed when we took off (slowly), the view from the train is great, there is regular commentary all the way...More
