We were picked up in Noosa Heads by the Discovery Group Bus and drove up to Rainbow Beach to pick up other people after the bus broke down so we had to wait for 2 hours until someone came to fix it. This delay caused...More

I experienced Fraser Island with Scott, who is a great driver and has encyclopedic knowledge about the location. We swam at Lake McKenzie, walked through the rainforest next to Wanggoolba Creek, visited the wreck of the SS Maheno, and splashed around in Eli Creek over...More

Wow! What an experience. Our trip in the Sand Rover down the beach, across two ferries and into the rainforest on Frasier Island was epic. Our Driver/Guide/Chef and Island Native, Darryl was fabulous. His love of the island and all of its bounty shines through....More

I highly recommend doing this tour. It is a big day, starting early (6am) and finishing about 5pm, but totally worth the effort. Our driver was funny and very knowledgeable. The truck picked us up at our apartment and dropped us back at our doorstop...More

Who knew Noosa had Everglades....not many locals! This was a nice relaxing day out. Punting up the river. Interesting commentary recommend the steak for lunch. Wish I had organised a kayak that looked like fun.

We really enjoyed the half day cruise despite some moments on Lake Coothabara when the ferry struggled to clear the bottom of the lake! The Noosa Everglades are beautiful and well worth a visit and this is an affordable way to do it. The afternoon...More

This trip involves an early start. We were picked up from Noosa at 6.15am by Edward our chirpy, enthusiastic and knowledgeable driver-guide for the day. Be aware that there is quite a bit of time spent on the bus throughout the trip (a very robust,...More

Hello, My husband and I will be in Noosa for 5 days from October 25 - 30th. We would like to take a one day Fraser Island tour on the advice of our daughter who did the 3 day tour a number of years ago. We don't want an overnight tour and I'd like to be sure that the journey would not be too taxing on my back. If the seats are comfortable, and I'm not at the very back of the bus, it should be fine. I would also like to know if Lake McKenzie is definitely included at this time of year as she said it was breathtaking. Also, would you pick us up at the Twin Quays Resort? Thanking you in anticipation. Heather

Hi, we are going to be in Noosa for about a week in August. We are a couple in our 60s and not super fit as my knees are not terrific! We don't want to miss out though and would love to do a trip to Fraser Island. I feel the day trip would perhaps be a lot to do in a day and maybe look at a 1 night trip. Can you advise if this would be suitable for me. Is there much walking required and where would we be staying overnight? Would you pick up at Hastings street hotels? Thanks, Hazel

Hi Hazel, My preference is the 2 day tour, as we break up the travel from Noosa over two days. We also get to see more of the island and have plenty of time so the tour doesn't feel rushed. As for the walking there are a... More
