Our visit to Wembury was far from typical, as we were staying at the National Trust cottage, so had the wonderful experience of seeing it at different times and states of the tide. It's a remarkably busy place, and is great for coastal walks, bird-watching,...More

A great place for rock pooling, but you must check tide times. It is also quite relaxing on the beach. There is a learning centre to visit and, you can arrange for guides when rock pooling if you phone well in advnce.

When I first moved to Plymouth 40 years ago I first moved to Wembury which is a great little beach with limited parking which keeps it never too busy. I great local beach for primarily the locals.

Stopped on a short break in the area. Lovely place and sun was out. Lots of dog walkers however some left their parcels on walll next to map of the view instead of a bin or take home!

It is easy to access by car and there are bus routes that go to Wembury. The lanes are narrow but cars don't go too fast as a result. The car park is a decent size and won't be problematic for the car. Wembley beach is a... More
