This large ski area is beautiful!! Good snow!! Lots of slope areas that have different levels!! There is even a "white ring" where you can make a circuit of the area (but that may be seasonal)!!

This was our second visit to Lech and once again it did not disappoint. A beautiful, authentic village with superb skiing. Conditions got a bit slushy lower down the slopes in the afternoon but this can be expected this time of the year. There are more than enough runs higher up the slopes to keen you busy so it is... Yes it is now possible to ski from Lech to St Anton fairly easily. This provides a pretty massive ski area which provides well for all skiers up to advanced intermediate. There is almost an absence of black runs and only a modest provision of ski-park facilities. The pistes themselves are so well manicured that the piste colour assessments struggle... More

The vast range of slopes is super. The ski school is set up very well. The restaurants are good and it's a lovely area. We just had very soft slushee snow. It is not groomed. Shame because it looks amazing. Go early when there is snow. It's a beautiful area.

I have skied in Austria for many years but this was my first trip to the Arlberg where the ski area is huge. The transport on the slopes is superb and nearly all modern in Design.

So they've linked Lech up with Warth to one side and St. Anton to the other, so there is a lot of skiing and more than enough for 1 week. It hadn't snowed for a while when we went so we didn't do any off piste but I imagine this is terrific after its snowed as there are so many... More

It's been five years since I first reviewed this area (see review March 2012 for details) and it's been 31 years that we have been making this "pilgrimage" annually to the best ski area in the world. So how could it possibly get better ? Well, just in the last few years, the area has expanded to include the large... More

I stayed in the beautiful and pretty resort of Lech in the Arlberg, which has a super ski area. Although this year I did not ski, the area lift pass covers the recently competed links to Warth, Klosterle, St. Christoph and St. Anton. There are almost 200 blue and reds runs in the area, so for the average good red... More

There has been a lot of investment into the Lech lift systems recently - fast travel with slow mount & dismount, heated seats, windshields - espcially the connection with the St Anton ski area. There is still the occasional T-bar and two-seater chairlift though. The piste map could do with some work on it; what you see sometimes on the... More
