In front to the port of the village this church watch the lake since 13th century , simply facade with the Saint Tecla over the rose window, internal with one nave all decorated and frescoed in baroque style.
To teak a picture of the paintings on the main altar I set off the alarm, fortunately no one has came to scold me

Located on the main square at the lake, the beautiful existing ceiling is actually covering a much older one, that was recently "rediscovered" and photographed.

We stayed in a nearby hotel and decided to go it this old church. It is small but beautiful inside. This isn’t what I would call a major stop but it was very nice to stop in for a few minutes.

We had walked along the ridge from Brunate finishing our walk in the stunning village of Torno reached after walking down hundreds of steps from the hills behind. Waiting for our boat back to Como we took in the pretty view of the church looking out over the lake. Such a peaceful spot.

Torno is amazing place by the Lake Como, very quiet and near the City Como. Torno is very quiet and full of small streets and alleys, and if you go in the direction of the lake you'll find this Church in the front of the dock and boat transportation. The architecture is very classic and italian style. It deserves your visit!
