If you visit the Algarve, this church must not be missing on your "must do" list. The Church of San Lourenco de Amancil is unique, because the inside of the church, walls, ceiling and cupola is finished with Biblical and historical scenes in the characteristic...More

A must visit, but if you are going for mass, get there early, even the annex gets full, quite a long mass. Beautiful church.

It's a small church, but worth a visit if you are in the area. The interior is decorated entirely with Portuguese tiles, which is unique for a church. Pity that it's not allowed to take photos. Closed during lunch hours!
